Amrapali Mango

আম্রপালি আম রাজশাহীর সুস্বাদু আমের একটি উন্নত জাত। ১৯৭১ সালে এই হাইব্রিড আমের জাতটি ভারতীয় কৃষিবিদ উদ্ভাবন করেন। ভারতীয় কৃষি গবেষণা ইনস্টিটিউটের বিজ্ঞানী ড. পিযুষ কান্তি মজুমদার ‘দশেরী’ এবং ‘নিলম’ দুটি জাতের আমের সংকরায়নের মাধ্যমে নতুন এ জাতটি উদ্ভাবন  করেন, যার নাম দেয়া হয় আম্রপালি।

ভারতীয় জাতের এই আমটি আমাদের বাংলাদেশে আসে ১৯৮৪ সালের দিকে । কৃষি সম্প্রসারণ অধিদপ্তরের মহাপরিচালক কৃষিবিদ এনামুল হক এবং চুয়াডাঙ্গার আজাদ হাইব্রিড নার্সারির কর্ণধার আবুল কালাম আজাদের যৌথ উদ্যোগে বাংলাদেশে এই জাতটি আমদানি করা হয় কিন্তু আজ এই আমের ব্যাপক চাষ করা হচ্ছে। প্রতি কেজিতে ৫-৭টি আম হয়।

অফেলা আমঃ 

১. আমরা অফেলা ফুড নিজের বাগানের আম আপনার জন্য পাঠাচ্ছি।

২. আপনার অর্ডার কনফার্ম হবার পরই গাছ থেকে পাড়া হয়। আগে থেকে পেড়ে রাখা হয়না তাই আপনি পাচ্ছেন ১০০% ফ্রেশ আম।

৩. আধা পাকা বা পরিপক্ক আম আপনাদের জন্য পাঠানো হয়। সম্পুর্ন পাকা আম পাঠালে আপনার কাছে যেতে যেতে নষ্ট হয়ে যাবে। 

৪. আমাদের আমে কোন ফরমালিন বা কেমিক্যাল দেয়া হয়না, তাই আম তাড়াতাড়ি পেকে যায় আর পাকা আম প্যাকেট অবস্থায় থাকলে দ্রুত নষ্ট হয়ে যায়। আপনি আম হাতে পাবার সাথে প্যাকেট খুলে মেঝেতে বিছিয়ে দেবেন। ফ্রিজে রাখার দরকার নাই।

Amrapali mango

Amrapali mango is an advanced variety of delicious mango from Rajshahi. In 1971, this hybrid mango variety was developed by an Indian agronomist. Indian Agricultural Research Institute scientists. Piyush Kanti Majumder developed this new variety, which was named Amrapali, by hybridizing two varieties of mango, ‘Dasheri’ and ‘Neelam’.

This Indian mango came to Bangladesh around 1984. Although the variety was imported to Bangladesh in a joint initiative of Director General of Agriculture Extension Department, Agronomist Enamul Haque and Head of Azad Hybrid Nursery, Chuadanga, Abul Kalam Azad, this mango is currently being cultivated on a large scale.
